Color designs of plates (32) by Elmer Walter, 1912-1919, used by the Onondaga Pottery Company, Syracuse, N.Y. Also 15 sketches by Warren Walter, 1900-1904, in pencil, watercolor, ink, and charcoal, and another sketch by Elmer Walter, 1905. Several of the sketches are of Native Americans.

Onondaga Pottery Company was founded in 1871 in Geddes (now part of Syracuse), New York. Although the company's early focus was on producing sturdy commercial wares, especially for hotel restaurants and railroad dining cars, it also made finer wares for home use. Onondaga Pottery had the industry's first in-house lithography shop to make decals to use in decorating the china.
